We produced a book cover for "Jews Clues: You're Doing It All Wrong"... And just in time for Passover.

We never expected to find a yenta in the non-Jewish Scott Combs... But after our first date, we knew it was the perfect match. We are so happy to have been able to produce this for our friends, the authors C.J. Kaplan and Mitch Blum... We look forward to much more meshugass in the future... Hopefully involving less lox next time...

Over the past couple weeks, Erik has brought his dog, Cloe, into the office... Everyone knows that the Sarofsky Corp. gang loves having a dog aroung!

Cloe is a cute, mixed breed pooch who loves to give sloppy dog kisses. She's got long shaggy fur... Which is perfect in the winter... But since spring is just around the corner, it's time for her summer haircut.

Puppy Size Comparison

On Tuesday, we shared a photo of Moose and Minnie on the Sarofsky office couch back in August 2009... Back then, Moose and Minnie were only around 5 months old. They could easily share the couch. Here's a refresher of the photo:

This morning, Minnie was laying in her usual spot, taking up, basically, the entire couch. However, Moose decided that he wanted to share the couch with her. This is what it looks like when two 100+ pound dogs both want to nap on a couch:

As you can see, the size ratio from back in August 2009 has changed quite a bit. Now if only we could get Eddie and Fussy the snuggle up in the mix as well...

The Man Your Man Could Smell Like

A couple weeks ago, Matt and Rachel went over to Optimus Chicago for their annual Block Party.

The main attraction at the party was Isaiah Mustafa... More commonly known as the Old Spice Guy.

Matt and Rachel decided to pose with Isaiah like the well known scene from Predator...

Matt posed as Arnold and Isaiah as Carl Weathers... And Rachel just looks pretty on the side.

As Matt put it, "Clearly no one is as jacked as Arnold was."

In other news, the Old Spice Body Wash commercial "The Man Your Man Could Smell Like" just won the Emmy for Outstanding Commercial! Take a look at the commercial here!

Meet the Sarofsky Team!

Erin Sarofsky

Erin is the Owner, President and Creative Director of Sarofsky Corp. She is most well known for her obsession with sweaters. Whether Erin is stuck in a snowstorm or sitting on a sunny beach, you can bet she is wearing a cozy sweater. Erin is also recognized for her various voices and impersonations... Her Moose (see below) voice is slowly becoming an international hit.

Moose

Moose is Erin's Bernese Mountain Dog. His favorite pastimes include destroying shoes, eating sticks of butter, chewing rubber wellies and riding shotgun... And stealing things... Anything.

Nik Braatz

Nik is Sarofsky's newest Designer... And he is quite the renaissance man. Not only is he working on creating his own cartoon in his spare time (still unnamed), he also enjoys making his own guitar pedals and messing around with old organs and moogs... Oh, and he's also in a band called Serf, where he plays the drums and sometimes the guitar.

Rachel Steele

Rachel is Sarofsky's Commercial Executive Producer. Originally from Ohio, Rachel went to school and lived in New York City... Where she became an (almost) obsessive Yankee fan. If you need ANY info on Derek Jeter, Rachel's your go to girl. Her dream World Series match up is the Cincinnati Reds vs. the New York Yankees... She also hates peas with a passion.

Archie & Eddie

Archie (in Rachel's picture) and Eddie (above) are Rachel's two dogs... Both mixes. Their genetic DNA testing results came back matching with a variety of breeds, including German Shepherd and Golden Retriever for Archie and Dalmatian and Chihuahua for Eddie. While Archie is more senior and less active, Eddie enjoys spending his days nipping at Minnie's ankles and interrupting Moose's naps.

Matt Crnich

Matt Crnich is the Visual FX Supervisor at Sarofsky. His most defining characteristic is his height... Matt's impressive stature has come in handy several times, whether changing light bulbs or installing shelves. It has also caused him to be "recognized"... In Miami as a Mexican soap opera star... Is he leading a double life?

Fussy

Fussy (see above) is a 9 pound Pomeranian... Who belongs to the aforementioned Matt (the tallest member of the Sarofsky team). Seeing these two together is quite a treat... Fussy enjoys carrots and snuggling into small spaces.

Gene Park

Gene is Sarofsky's Senior Designer. He is originally from Seoul, Korea... But moved to the United States in 2003 for graduate school at SAIC. Much to his wife's chagrin, he is a golf enthusiast... Struggling to break 90.

Louise Krakower

Louise is based in Los Angeles and is the Executive Producer of Entertainment at Sarofsky. So much to say about Louise (all great, of course)... Just not enough time to get it all written out.

Halley Bonoma

Halley is the Production Coordinator at Sarofsky. Some of her more interesting traits include vegan, conversational Spanish speaker and shopping addict. However, she's also the youngest employee at Sarofsky, which means she frequently gets picked on for not knowing what certain people, events, movies, etc. are... Amy Fisher, Bo Jackson and "Feed me, Seymour!" just to name a few...

Minnie

Minnie is Halley's Great Dane. The shortest Sarofsky employee has the biggest dog. Minnie believes that the Sarofsky office couch belongs to her and her alone. She enjoys spending office dog days sleeping and building up energy for her favorite pastime: Moose draggin'. (Video to come soon...)

As you can see in our ABOUT US section... Sarofsky is a design driven production company. That being said... We wanted a space where we could openly share some of the (good) crazy that goes on in our office and elsewhere on a daily basis.

After considering several different options, we decided that the best place to share our randomness would be a blog... And so "SAROFSKY... Process, Opinions & Other Tidbits" was born...
